at another large academic multi-hospital integrated
health care delivery system where he stabilized
the operations of that financially distressed
hospital through identification of revenue enhancement
and cost reduction measures.
Mr. Bie has also worked in the field of integrated
health care delivery and managed care where he
served as Chief Financial Officer, providing physician
practice management and integrated health care
deliveries strategies to hospital-owned organized
group practices in multiple states where he was
responsible for all financial functions including
physician practice billing, claims processing,
financial reporting, general ledger, payroll,
accounts payable, budgeting and purchasing.
Mr. Bie started his career in public accounting
specializing in health care managing audit engagements
for large hospital engagements throughout New
York City and Long Island for approximately seven
years and attained the level of manager for an
international public accounting firm.
Mr. Bie obtained his Bachelor of Science degree
in Accounting in 1983 from the State University
of New York at Buffalo and his Certified Public
Accountant Certification from the State of New
York in 1985. Active in numerous societies including
