Presently working in the capacity of Vice President for Planning and Community Health Centers, Mr. Ade coordinates all construction projects for the Nassau Health Care Corporation from the initial architectural plans through the final construction phases. He is also responsible for the management of the seven Community Health Centers, located throughout Nassau County, with a staff of 100 who are responsible for coordinating its 65,000 clinic visits a year. Prior to 2005, Mr. Ade was the Vice President for Development Business and Fund Raising at the Nassau Health Care Corporation where he coordinated all aspects of the Office of Development, including staffing, technology, fund raising events, capital/annual campaigns and special events at Nassau University Medical Center. In 2001, he had been recruited by Chief Executive Officer at the time, to create the Development Office and to establish an Annual Campaign for various hospital programs and the medical center.
From 1999 until 2001, Mr. Ade was the Executive Director for Economic Development, Town of Hempstead Industrial Development Agency. He coordinated all aspects of the agency, including business development, marketing plan and initiated business development meetings between inter-governmental economic entities.
From 1994 until 1999, Michael Ade served as Deputy Commissioner in the Nassau County Office of Consumer Affairs, Mineola, New York where he supervised a department of 39 employees.
Mr. Ade received his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 1977 from Cathedral College in New York and his Master of Arts in Theology in 1981 from Immaculate Conception, also in New York.
